I worked with Mike for approximately 7 months and in that time I learned a lot about what's possible, what's simple, and what I can achieve. In that time I lost about 35lbs and dropped 2 sizes. One of the best things about working with Mike was his ability to make any environment work for me, teaching me that getting healthy didn't have to be expensive. We had sessions at my house, we did workouts at the park using nature/the environment as our "equipment" like trees, park benches, trails, etc. We went on bike rides and walks, lots of fun things that often didn't really feel like a burden (so much of my previous work out style, like going to the gym felt like a drag). He is always considerate, never pushy, and incredibly encouraging. He taught me a lot about food and how to cook in such a way I was never bored and began really looking forward to finding new recipes to test my food boundaries. The biggest obstacle I faced, and continue to face, is my thought process (what goes on in my head) and dealing with the constant barrage of what society tells me is "acceptable."  But Mike never judged me, never judges me. He's compassionate but not a push-over. He's inspiring and dedicated. It's very apparent how much he wants to help other people reach their goals. He is always learning and sharing what he learns. Working with Mike was one of the best decisions I ever made for myself. I would highly recommend Mike to anyone.
